The Challenge
Viridian, a new content provider for the historical sector, needed a distinctive visual identity and brand guideline to establish their presence in a niche but growing market. The brand had to balance authority with approachability, appealing to museums, educators, and heritage organisations while standing out in a traditionally conservative space.
The Solution
I developed a visual identity that drew inspiration from archival materials and classical design, combined with a modern, clean aesthetic. The colour palette, typography, and graphic elements were carefully chosen to evoke credibility and warmth. Alongside the core identity, I created a comprehensive brand guideline covering logo usage, colour systems, typography, imagery, and tone of voice—ensuring consistency across all future content.
The Result
The final identity positioned Viridian as both trustworthy and contemporary, helping them make a strong entrance into the historical content space with a professional and adaptable brand foundation.
